Business Administration Career

What are the benefits of taking Business Administration as a career? We Answered:
Business administration covers accounting (part of it) but for finance, i'm unsure. well, business administration is highly sought after in the society. So, it is definitely a better option. The worse is that (touch wood) that you get sacked, it's easier to find jobs. think about accounting, if you won't feel bored facing SUMS daily, and not afraid of starting the sums all over again when you calculate wrongly, it's a good choice for you. But, i think the best way to approach the lecturers and get their opinion, such as what jobs you have in the future and what you will be learning during the course, etc.
good luck!

Business administration??We Answered:
Not sure what a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BA) would involve, but most ANY degree would allow you to enter many companies' "executive training" programs. There isn't really a "BA" career path, just careers in management in various industries. I recommend, instead of a baccalaureate in general business, you go for a degree in one of the more hard-core business disciplines (e.g., accounting, finance) and after some real-world work experience, go for an MBA. The more rigorous background should make you more attractive to corporations, and wouldn't inhibit your entrance into one of the executive development programs, if that's what your want to try.The salaries are better if you bring specific skills to your would-be employer. If you go them and essentially expect them to train you for specific skills, they tend to not pay as well, until they judge your general-purpose value.
General rule: more skills/experience you have, the bigger your salary

how good is Business administration certification for changing career in UC Berkeley Extension? We Answered:
Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley is highly reputable (regularly ranks in the top 10 of all US MBA programs). There are a lot of universities (and low-level colleges) offering degrees in business administration, but not many schools have the same cachet carried by a name like UC Berkeley. Employers know and trust UC Berkeley because of their reputation for academic rigor and selectivity. That means, when faced with applicants (all other qualities equal) with credentials from University of Phoenix versus UC Berkeley, the employer is much more likely to go for the applicant with the education from UC Berkeley.Victoria Said:
Is business administration the best career to get rich?We Answered:
No. That degree is the way to get a good job. If you want to get rich you have to invent something or you have to start a business and become an entrepreneur.
